WOW! What a huge turkey my new friend has, and look how friendly he is. I was so brave.

A turkey(unlike chickens) will not run from you... they come TO you... I found this out the first time I spent the nite with one of my grade school friends whose parents had a turkey farm. I had raised chickens and knew that when you entered the chicken house, they would run all away the other direction.... But in the turkey house... when you went in, they all came running towards you. It was a shock to me. They are a calmer type of bird... also. LOVE THIS PIC. Tanna
